How to Enable/Disable Bandwidth Throttling

 

Method 1: Using the Polarbackup Desktop Application

  1. Open the Polarbackup desktop application.
  2. Click on Settings.
  3. From the left-side panel, select the Resource Optimization option.
  4. Enable or disable the Enable Bandwidth Throttling feature based on your preferences.
  5. Click the Save button.

 

Method 2: Via the Polarbackup Web Console

This approach is exclusively accessible within the Business edition of Polarbackup.
  1. Sign in to your Polarbackup web console as an admin user.
  2. Refer to the Policies page.
  3. Create a new policy, or select to edit an existing one.
  4. Under the Settings tab, and from the General Settings section, enable or disable the Enable Bandwidth Throttling feature based on your preferences.
  5. Click the Save button to save the changes.
Enabling the Bandwidth Throttling feature automatically disables the Multithreaded Upload.
