Backup Alerts and Email Notifications with Polarbackup

Introduction

As a Business subscriber of Polarbackip with admin privileges, you can enable the Alert Report option to receive emails about activity streams and alerts.

Enabling the Alert Report with Polarbackup

To enable the alert report option, please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Polarbackup web console as an admin user.
2. Go to the Settings page. There you will see two types of reports:
   • Alert Reports: Refer to the Alert Reports tab, select the Enable email reporting option, and set the settings as you prefer.
   • Backup Alert Emails: Refer to the Backup Alert Emails tap, enable the option there, and customize the settings so you receive alerting emails in case the backup on the machines is not running for days.
3. Click the Save button.
